We offer materials from this class of products that can replace natural rubber and TPV (Vulcanized thermoplastics, type Santoprene) as well as similar products such as Synprene, Santoprene and Sarlink. The products that are part of the Eprene family are compatible with Polypropylene, and are therefore used for casting. The fact that they are impervious to UV rays makes them a good choice in outdoor applications that demand a good resistance to oxidizing agents. The Eprene family is a class of products that has SEBS as the base ingredient. SEBS is a product that is in turn obtained from SBS. It has an advantage compared to SBS because the molecule contains no double bonds, which are naturally sensitive to oxidation phenomena. SEBS is therefore particularly resistant to oxidation and is a material that is well adapted to applications that are demanding in terms of heat, UV lighting, ozone and oxidizing chemical agents. |
