CAST Argenta is the brand name for cast polymethylmethacrylate sheets from Polycasa® , with special visual characteristics.
CAST Argenta sheets are as easy to handle as standard Polycasa CAST material. Fabricating and finishing techniques such as sawing, drilling, printing, milling, mechanical polishing, thermoforming, hot bending and laser cutting (on coloured surface) do not offer any problems to this special product.
CHARACTERISTICS
- Unique sparkling look, creating an intriguing depth effect.
- Two surfaces: a sparkling colour surface with a fascinating gloss and deepness effect, and a metallic silver surface with opaque appearance.
- Material is almost opaque in flat application, but can be easily thermoformed to any shape, thus gaining light transmission to 30-50%.
- Due to inner composition and production process, material has a certain particle orientation. This results in a colour which has different colour shades.
- The colour intensity of the thermoformed piece reduces/ varies depending on the thermoformed shape.
