Message
Menzolit® BMC 0170 is a bulk moulding compound based on unsaturated polyester resin. The product is glass fibre reinforced and contains mineral fillers. In case of fire the product doesn't melt, neither does it form droplets nor is smoke generation excessive. The material is injection moulded in heated steel moulds. It is recommended to work with chrome plated tools. The product contains no halogens.

Menzolit® BMC 0170 General purpose BMC is designed for electrical applications. Product according to type 801 DIN 16911. The glass content is on a level that combines good mouldability with good strength and stiffness properties. Typical applications are housings and covers in the electrical industry. Usually it is used for functional parts that don't require a high fire retardancy.
