General Processing Information: Entira™ AS 500 is a hygroscopic material. To minimize exposure to moisture, any remaining material should be hermetically sealed in a barrier package immediately after use, rmoving as much air from the package as possible. In order to reuse remaining material that has been hermetically sealed, the material should be dried under vacuum with a nitrogen flow at a maxium of 60C (140F) for several hours prior to use. Alternately use of a dessicated air drier with a dewpoint of the air at -40C (-40F) may be possible to use. Maximum air drying temp of 60C. Entira™ AS 500 is available in pellet form for use in conventional equipment for processing polyolefins. It can be fed together with base polymers and other additives in the hopper during processing. Typical addition levels range from 10% to 20%.
