Purgex products have a dual cleaning action, with mechanical cleaning properties plus a unique expanding/foaming turbulence to thoroughly and safely clean injection molding machines and hot runner systems. All active ingredients are FDA-approved materials used in food and pharmaceutical applications. Cleaning hot runner systems and can be safely processed through hot runner gates as small as .030-inch, or .75mm.

Applications:

Injection instructions
Purge the barrel of production resin. Add PURGEX 602 to the hopper using a minimum of 2 times the injection capacity. Purge the barrel until PURGEX exits the nozzle and Stop! Soak for five minutes at the processing temperature with the barrel full and the screw in the forward position. At the end of 5 Minutes, purge the barrel until emptied of PURGEX 602. Use 2x's the barrel capacity to rinse with the following production resin, rinsing PURGEX 602 from the barrel. Resume Molding
