Polymer Processing Aid MB Description POYAD PA211 is specially designed to improve the processability of LLDPE rich materials, MDPE and HDPE. It works by coating the internal surface of the extruder and die and thereby reduces the friction between the polymer and the metal. This leads to reduce or eliminate melt fracture, improved surface quality, clarity, gloss and reduced extruder head pressure which often allows higher output rates and/or reduces power consumption. It can also be used to reduce die build up. POYAD PA211 typical application are film, sheet and pipe extrusion as well as blow molding. It's suitable for use in a wide range of plastics that come into contact food. For more details please contact us. Application POYAD PA211 is designed for ease of dilution and homogeneous mixing and is therefore suitable for direct addition using automatic dosing units or by pre-blending. For maximum efficiency, it is advisable to pre-condition the extruder by using a high initial dosing level of up to 15% and should be continued for 10 to 15 minutes until melt fracture is eliminate. The following continuous addition level can then be 1-2%. Some additives such as anti-block and some pigments affect its efficiency.
