Jampilen EP540N is a nucleated heterophasic polypropylene copolymer with an improved mechanical properties balance. The product features outstanding stiffness and high impact strength at low temperatures and is designed for injection molding applications. In comparison with conventional copolymers, with the same MFR and the same toughness, Jampilen EP540N exhibits 20% higher rigidity. Jampilen EP540N is suitable for a wide range of applications in the packaging, automotive and consumer goods industries. Typical applications include housewares, containers, bins, baskets, flowerpots, toys, lids, caps and closures. The grade is also well suited for molded garden furniture, chair shells, crates, trays and automotive parts. Jampilen EP540N is suitable for food contact.
