HIE-4-1.9 is an impact polystyrene designed for extrusion and injection molding. It is especially suitable for extrusion thermoforming applications requiring high gloss and high stiffness, such as food service disposables. A unique combination of thermal characteristics favor HIE-4-1.9 for fast injection cycles in high gloss small appliance and electronics applications.
