The E Series contains none of the PFOA compound (ammonium salt) used as a conventional PTFE polymerizable emulsifier. The CD Grade products are new, environmentally compatible PTFE fine powders offering all the characteristics of the conventional PTFE, without containing PFOA. The CD grade products can be used in seal tapes, stretch films, tubes, small diameter rods, electrical wire coatings, etc., by paste extrusion with an aid. The CD grade products are easily fibrillated by the application of shearing force. They can therefore be used as flame retardant additives to improve the melt tension of thermoplastic resin. Only very small amounts confer the flame retardant effects. Applications:
