BMC 695 vinyl ester molding compound is a mineral filled glass fiber reinforced vinyl ester compound suitable for compression and injection molding. It is characterized by good moldability, oil and solvent resistance and creep resistance at elevated temperatures. Typical applications include replacements for die castings and sheet molding compounds, valve covers, timing chain covers, and engine top covers. BMC 695 molding compound is produced in a range of automotive colors. It is available in log form or custom preforms designed to fit the net shape of compression molds, or in bulk form. |
