EUROPLEX® F3, F7, and F6 are flame-retardant grades of polycarbonate sheet (PC) whose flame-retardant properties have been further improved beyond those of standard polycarbonate sheet. The EUROPLEX® F series meets the fire standard requirements for many applications in public transportation and also offers excellent impact resistance and strength. It is easy to fabricate and can be formed into complex shapes using standard thermoforming equipment. EUROPLEX® F7 EUROPLEX® F7 is a transparent, UV stabilized PC sheet with especially low smoke emissions intended for interior applications. It is used for dust covers, lighting covers, emergency lighting systems and other similar applications in aircraft, and is ideally suited wherever lightweight, transparent and flame-retardant materials are required.
