BC5009 is a very low viscosity, modified, unfilled, room temperature curing, general purpose resin system. BC5009 is a clear-amber epoxy adhesive especially formulated for the bonding of wood and urethane model board. It may be also used as a laminating resin. The resin is color indicated (green) and will turn to a clear amber color as the hardener is mixed into the resin. This indicator system promotes fast and efficient mixing of the resin and hardener, insuring that they are thoroughly mixed yet wasting no time over mixing. |

| Use Procedure Mix the resin and hardener in the ratio of 100 parts resin to 25 parts hardener, by weight. Continue mixing until the green indicator color disappears. The pot-life of a 125 gram mass will be approximately 30 minutes. When applied in a thin adhesive film, the best procedure is to allow overnight for full cure, however in some rigid structures the adhesive should be cured enough to handle in 6-8 hours. |
