BPD2167 is an unstabilised low density thermoplastic polyethylene. It is designed for use in "Câble de façade" application and one step silane crosslinking insulation. A carefully selected carbon black and additives master batch needs to be added to BPD2167 to reach the final “Cable de Façade” formulation. The best performance in terms of homogeneity, aging and anchorage tests is however obtained with the fully formulated black compound BPD8167, to which only the Silane mixture needs to be added. |
