Intene® 50 is a solution polymerized low cis polybutadiene produced using an alkyl lithium catalyst at the Grangemouth production facility in Scotland, UK. A non-staining antioxidant is added during the production process. Key Features Intene® 50 is an elastomer characterised by an excellent resistance to abrasion, high resilience /rebound, good resistance to fatigue cracking and crack growth. Its low glass transition temperature provides good low temperature performance. Intene® 50 reduces reversion in NR compounds, allowing higher temperature to be adopted. It exhibits low BIT times and can also accept higher loadings of carbon black. Main Applications Tyres, belting, moulded and extruded articles.
