| P-70 is a high durometer, platinum-catalyzed, RTV-2 silicone rubber. It is easy to mix and de-air, and will cure with virtually no shrinkage. The speed at which the rubber hardens can be dramatically accelerated with heat or with Pt Accelerator at room temperature. A two hour post-cure at 250°F will increase the hardness to 70. Addition-cure two-component silicone rubbers may show inhibition sensitivity. P-70 offers outstanding chemical and heat resistance and the rigidity to withstand the expansion of most polyurethane foams. |
