Extir Verdi PD VM A3000 AE is an HBCD-free flame retardant expandable polystyrene in the form of spherical beads of medium particle size, containing pentane as blowing agent. Extir does not contain CFC or HCFC. Extir Verdi PD VM A3000 AE is an improvement of A 3000 AE showing an improved thermal conductivity as VR A3000 AE. Extir Verdi PD VM A3000 AE is used for production of shaped mouldings with section greater than 8 mm and of medium-high density blocks. Applications Extir Verdi PD VM A3000 AE has an improved thermal conductivity value, specially at low density. Extir Verdi PD VM A3000 AE is used mainly in building and industrial packaging applications where, for legislative or safety reasons, the use of a flame retardant material is required. Typical applications are: industrial packaging (e.g. cathode ray tube protection) medium / high density blocks for thermal insulation window dressing, theatre backgrounds moulded panels for underfloor heating moulded or block-cut building components
