Intene ® 40 AF is a solution polymerized low cis polybutadiene produced using an alkyl lithium catalyst at the Grangemouth production facility in Scotland, UK. A TNPP/BHT free, food contact approved, non-staining antioxidant is added during the production process. Key Features Low cis BR is the polybutadiene of choice to produce high impact Polystyrene (HIPS). It is particularly suited to HIPS processes where a lower solution viscosity is required. Main Applications Impact improver to be used in polystyrene and ABS manufacuring.
