This product is HDPE that is extruded into a corrugated configuration that provides relatively good stiffness. The surface can be corona treated so that it will accept inks for silk screening and other types of printing. Applications: Mail totes, all types of boxes and automotive dunnage are just a few of applications that can be fabricated from this product. Prime Cor-X PE may also be used for silk screen signage. It is tougher than cardboard, can be reused, has proven durability, as well as moisture and chemical resistance. Processing: Prime Cor-X PE was not designed to be thermoformed but does work well for fabricating. It can easily be die cut, folded and sonic welded for applicationsmsuch as boxes, dunnage and other containers. Finishing: Prime Cor-X PE can be fabricated by drilling, routing, sawing, die cut and/or laser cutting. Mechanical fasteners or sonic welding work well for joining this product together. Please contact your Primex Plastics representative for more information on finishing, fabricating, or the thermoforming process. Colors, Textures and Capabilities: Prime Cor-X PE comes in a variety of industry standard colors and may also be custom color matched to meet your specific requirements.Smooth is the only texture available. Cor-X PE is offered in 2 mm to 12 mm and widths of up to 104". We also offer this product in rolls. |
