HD0499UV is a highly UV stabilised injection moulding grade of High Density Polyethylene combining excellent impact resistance with high hardness, stiffness and toughness. HD0499UV is especially designed for the production of mouldings demanding the combination of food contact suitability, very good mechanical properties and a high level of UV stabiliser to give protection for outdoor use. Suitability for use in any application should be determined by appropriate performance testing. HD0499UV is suitable for food contact applications and conforms to the requirements of the United States Food and Drug Administration CFR 21 177.1520, paragraph (c) item 3.1.
