Durez 33304 Phenolic Resin is a solvent-free, water-soluble resin. Durez 33304 resin provides superior strength, adhesion, and wetability for both organic and inorganic substrates.

This unique water-soluble resin provides comparable or superior strength to solvent-based systems. When used in fiberglass or carbon composites, Durez 33304 provides excellent composite and interlaminary strength. In abrasive applications, Durez 33304 provides superior strength to inorganic grits and backing substrates.

Designed for adhesion in both natural and synthetic substrates, Durez 33304 has excellent adhesion to fiberglass, carbon fiber, nylon, polyester, Kevlar, cotton and paper-based substrates.

Durez 33304 eliminates the problem of conventional water systems in its ability to wet-out and coat synthetic substrates. This resin is equal to solvent-based systems in its ability to evenly coat synthetic substrates such as polyester, nylon and Kevlar.

Applications for Durez 33304 include:
  • Fiberglass Laminates
  • Carbon Fiber Laminates
  • Coated Abrasives
  • Paper Saturants
  • Carbon Composites
  • Coatings

Durez 33304 is a water-soluble resin.
