M21E760 has been developed for easy tear films in applications such as collation shrink film, envelopes, overwrap and bags. It can be blended or coextruded with other types of polyethylene to tailor performance. M21E760 is an ionomer, produced by the neutralization of an ethylene methacrylic acid (MAA) copolymer. It offers the following properties:
M21E760 heat seals are normally strong, although may be peelable. If corona treatment is necessary, the level should normally be in the range 38-48 mN/m. |
