SYNTHOS PS HI 945E is high-impact polystyrene (HIPS) with properties suitable for thermoforming. It is a thermoplastic material designed for extrusion and thermoforming. Product has a form of cylindrical granules of diameter 2.5 to 6 mm. APPLICATION Extrusion is used to produce sheets and plates which are usually thermoformed to packaging e.g. for the food and dairy industry. Furthermore, technical parts, other consumer or industrial articles. The composition of the polymer meets the requirements of the Health and can therefore be used for the production of articles coming into contact with food. |
