Vinnolit P 70 is a fine grained homopolymer for plastisol processing giving low-viscosity plastisols with an excellent shelf life.

Vinnolit P 70 pastes with a medium plasticizer content show a Newtonian rheology at low shear rates (Brookfield) and moderate dilatant rheology at high shear rates. The dilatancy can readily be reduced or even eliminated by blending with extender resins such as Vinnolit C 65 V (see diagram) or Vinnolit C 66 W or special emulsion grades.

Vinnolit P 70 has outstanding water resistance and high thermostability/weatherability and is thus ideally suited for long term outdoor applications, e.g., textile constructions, roofing sheets, tar-paulins, awnings, coil coating, decorative films and, owing to its high transparency, for trans-parent top coats.
