Escor 5110 is mainly used for extrusion coating and extrusion compounding with high speed and low coating weight. It can be well bonded to polar substrates, aluminum foils, metal films, paper, steel and glass surfaces. It has extremely high binding resistance to acidic and aggressive food packaging. Very low heat sealing and heat sealing temperature, extremely high maximum thermal adhesive strength.

Extrusion instructions
Excellent results are obtained in extrusion coating at 260°C - 280°C (500°F - 536°F) temperature range. Processing temperatures above 300°C (572°F) may cause resin degradation. To minimize corrosion risk, all exposed metal surfaces in the extruder and die should be made from corrosion resistant metals or nickel/chrome plated. ESCOR should be fed into the extruder after LDPE of a similar or higher melt index. Machines should always be completely purged with LDPE or a suitable cleaning compound before shutdown.
