"Moplen" EP545L is the polypropylene block copolymer manufactured by PMC under the license of BASELL using the Spheripol process. Moplen EP545L is a heterophasic copolymer typically used by customers in the production of beverage closures using both compression and injection moulding technologies. The resin is additivated with both slip and antistatic whilst exhibiting a good stiffness and impact strength. Additional applications for this resin include housewares and medium-sized containers. Moplen EP545L resin meets the FDA requirements in the Code of Federal Regulations in 21 CFR 177.1520 for food contact. |
