The Colorite 66 Series are a family of non-toxic PVC compounds developed specifically for those medical device, food, and infant care items where the use of a citrate based non-phthalate plasticizer is desirable.
The Colorite 66 Series are produced from raw materials that are sanctioned for use under Title XXI of the Code of Federal Regulations. This family of compounds is designed to be molded and extruded under similar processing conditions to compounds plasticized with DEHP. Colorite 66 compounds are available in a complete range of hardnesses from very soft to semi-rigid. They are also available in ethylene oxide and radiation sterilizable grades.
As with all Colorite non-toxic compunds, complete traceability and lot identification of all raw materials and finished products are maintained.
