SABIC ® LDPE nExCoat 5 is a revolutionary tubular grade without additives, which is specially developed for the extrusion coating market. Its special molecular structure provides a unique combination of properties: processing on very high line speeds, excellent adhesion on different substrates (both at lower extrusion temperatures) and excellent sealing properties, very low gel count, low MFR drop during processing and a lower extruder motor load. SABIC ® LDPE nExCoat 5 is suitable for all typical extrusion coating applications, such as liquid packaging, imaging, food packaging, release liners and building & construction and can be used for coating on paper, board aluminium foil or other substrates (especially temperature sensitive). Moreover, it can be employed in lamination applications, due to its excellent adhesion properties. The product mentioned herein is in particular not tested and therefore not validated for use in pharmaceutical/medical applications. |
