Jampilen HP554N is a polypropylene homopolymer designed for the production of fine denier staple fibers for nonwoven, thermobonded fabrics and offers outstanding spinnability, superior thermobonding and excellent antigasfading properties. Fabrics made with Jampilen HP554N are characterized by softness, textile-like appearance and high tear resistance. In comparison with standard polypropylene types for thermobonding applications, Jampilen HP554? offers some distinct advantages:
  • The processability with the long-spinning technology is outstanding, resulting in high and uniform fiber quality and less down-time,
  • A broad thermal bonding window is achieved, which facilitates start-up and adjustments of the plant, and
  • It shows a 20 to 30 % increase in thermal bonding ability.This makes it possible to produce fabrics with a higher tear strength or with a lower weight per square meter for the same strength.
