PPA is a kind of semi-crystalline and semi-aromatic polyamide, it offers high temperature resistance, good mechanical properties, oil resistance, low water absorption, good dimensional stability, good processability and it also has good environmental performance. It is remarkably stable at high temperature and retains its excellent mechanical and electrical properties in high humidity and chemically aggressive environments. Applications Owing to its high performance, there is a wide range of applications of PPA, including under bonnet automotive components, electronic devices and domestic appliances. Its product covers glass-filled, impact-modified, mineral-filled, high-flow, flame- retardant, high-reflectivity and electrical grades. |
