| XP-541 is an RTV-2 platinum cured addition reacted silicone. It was developed for use as a mold making material that can rapidly reproduce body parts. Due to the speed in which this material cures, it is not recommended for common mold making purposes. It is advised that the model apply vasoline to the area of their body that is going to be copied. There are some instances where the silicone has pulled hair. If something other than vasoline is to be used, a small amount of material should be tested as some lotions can cause outgassing in your mold. |
